Fruit should not be eaten with food.

The mechanism of digestion of carbohydrates and proteins is different. Carbohydrate digestive enzyme works in alkaline medium, while citrus fruits like lemon, orange, pineapple are acidic. If both are eaten together, the digestion process of carbohydrate or starch slows down. This may cause constipation, diarrhea, or indigestion. Anyway, digestion of fruits takes only two hours, while it takes four-five hours to digest food. Modern medical science has a different view. According to him, the fruits are acidic outside but alkaline as they go into the stomach. Anyway, after going into the body, all things are converted into carbohydrates, fat, proteins etc., so Modern Medical Science recommends eating a variety of fruits.

Do not eat sweet fruits and citrus fruits together

According to Ayurveda, oranges and bananas should not be eaten together as citrus fruits inhibit the sugar produced from the sweet fruits, which can cause digestion problems. Also, nutritional value of fruits may be reduced. Modern medical science does not agree with this.

Drink water with food or not?

Water is the best drink, but drinking water with food should be avoided. If food stays in the stomach for a long time, then the body will get more nutrition. If you take more water then the food will immediately go down. If you have to drink, then drink some and drink lukewarm or normal water. Avoid drinking very cold water. Put celery or cumin in water and boil it. It helps in digesting food. Drinking a glass of water half an hour before or an hour after eating is good.

Whether you should eat garlic or onion?

Garlic and onion should be included in the daily diet. Garlic reduces fat and increases good cholesterol (HDL) by decreasing bad cholesterol (LDL). It has anti-body and anti-oxidant properties. Onion increases appetite and prevents fat from accumulating around blood vessels. Long-term use can help combat cold-cold and respiratory allergies well. Garlic and onion can be eaten either raw or roasted. But eating raw raw garlic is better. Do not swallow raw garlic, chew it and eat it because raw garlic is not digested many times. Also, there are many such oils in it, which are released only after chewing and their body gets benefit.

To eat yogurt with parantha or not?

According to Ayurveda, curd should not be eaten with fried or roasted things like paranthas or puris, as curd causes obstruction in the digestion of fat. Due to this, the body cannot get the body it gets from fats. If you want to eat curd then add black pepper, rock salt or amla powder to it. However, there is no avoiding eating curd with roti. Modern science says that yogurt contains good bacteria, which help in digesting food, hence yogurt must be eaten.

Whether to eat fat and protein together?

Fats like ghee, butter, oil etc. should not be eaten with heavy proteins like cheese, egg, meat, because if two types of food are eaten together, they interfere with each other's digestive process. This may cause abdominal pain or digestive disturbances.

Take milk, bread and butter together or not?

It is better to take milk alone. Then the body gets more benefit from it. According to Ayurveda, high intake of protein, carbohydrate and fat should not be taken together as all three can cause digestion of each other and can cause heaviness in the stomach. Modern science does not consider it right. According to him, it is one of the best breakfasts because it is complete in itself.
