Take yogurt with milk or not?
Both milk and curd have different effects. Yogurt is a leavened thing. Mixing both spoils the food (milk) without yeast. Also, acidity increases and gas, indigestion and vomiting may occur. Similarly, if you take orange juice with milk, yeast will also form in the stomach. If both have to eat, then there should be an hour-and-a-half difference between the two because it takes at least so long to digest food.
Whether to eat fried and roasted with milk or not?
Milk contains lactose sugar and protein in addition to minerals and vitamins. Milk is an animal protein and if you mix more with it, reactions can occur. After adding salt, milk proteins freeze and nutrition is reduced. If this is done for a long time, skin diseases can occur. According to Ayurveda, eating inverted qualities and mood swings can cause harm if eaten in large amounts for a long time. But modern medical science does not believe so.
Whether to drink milk before bedtime?
According to Ayurveda, sleep is affected by kapha dosha of the body. Milk helps in sleeping by increasing the phlegm tendency due to its heaviness, sweetness and cold mood. Modern science is also believed that milk is helpful in sleeping. It also releases the serotonin hormone, which helps calm the mind. By the way, milk is a complete diet in itself, which contains carbohydrates, proteins and calcium. It is better to drink it alone. You can take biscuits, rusks, almonds or bread together, but by eating heavy food, the properties of milk are not absorbed in the body.
Adding leaf or ginger to milk only enhances the taste, does not change its mood. By the way, drinking boiled toned milk, making kheer or adding it to porridge is even more beneficial. It is better to drink lukewarm or room temperature milk instead of very cold or hot milk.
Note: Often people believe that milk should not be taken after surgery or stitches etc. because it can cause constipation, it is a misunderstanding. The proteins present in milk help in filling the body's breakdown quickly. Milk can be taken anytime throughout the day. Take at least one hour before bedtime. Also keep an hour gap between milk and dinner.
Buttermilk with food or not?
Buttermilk is an excellent drink or additional diet. Taking it with food also improves digestion of food and gives more nutrition to the body. It is also easily digested by itself. If you add a pinch of black pepper, cumin and rock salt to it, it is better. It also contains good bacteria, which are beneficial for the body. Drinking sweet lassi provides unnecessary calories, so it should be avoided. It is better to take buttermilk with food or take it later. Juices will dilute by taking the first.
Take yogurt and fruit together or not?
Fruits have different enzymes and yogurt has different. For this reason, they are not digestible, so it is not advisable to take both. Fruit raita can be taken occasionally, but refrain from eating it frequently.
Should we eat fruits with milk or not?
When taking fruits with milk, the calcium inside the milk absorbs many enzymes of the fruits (self-absorbed and the body cannot get their nutrition). Sour fruits like orange and pineapple should not be taken with milk at all. Many people take banana and milk in fasting, which is not right. Banana increases phlegm and milk also increases phlegm. Eating both together increases phlegm and also affects digestion. In the same way, if a lot of caffeine is taken with tea, coffee or cold drink, then the body does not get the full nutrients.
Drink milk with fish or not?
Yogurt is cold. It should not be taken with anything hot. The fish flavor is very hot, so it should not be eaten with curd. This can cause gas, allergies and skin disease. Apart from yogurt, honey should not be eaten with hot things.
Can you drink water immediately after eating fruit, especially after eating watermelon?
Water can be drunk immediately after eating fruits, although other liquids should be avoided. Actually, fruits have a lot of fiber and calories are very low. If you get good moisturizer along with more fiber, then cleanliness in the body is done well. But in case of watermelon or melon, this theory does not fit because these are very fiber fruits. It is better to eat watermelon alone and on an empty stomach. It contains too much water, which dilutes the digestive juices. If something is eaten with it or immediately after / before, it is difficult to digest. Similarly, drinking water with watermelon can cause loose motion. Well, watermelon is a very good fruit in itself. It is also good for sugar and heart patients apart from those wanting to lose weight.
